White was the right choice. Never have really been on the stainless appliance kick. Although i do love stainless accents and maybe even stainless small appliances like my mixer i love a white kitchen and the look of white appliances. I too think its better to have white appliances in a white kitchen like the one that judyg points out above.

The brushed stainless handles add a pop of shine complimenting other appliances. While shopping at my local home store i came across whirlpool ice white appliances. If you notice all of those white appliances are also higher end appliances in a custom kitchen. I suspect the majority of people think steel is more desirable and upmarket but i would like to know if the houzz community agrees.
