If your tank s bladder has failed reassess the drawdown capacity of your tank and make sure you have a tank that can support your pressure settings and well pump. In a well system with a bladder style pressure tank the well bladder pressure should be 2 psi lower than the cut in pressure for the well pump. If the pressure switch is adjusted to 40 60 the cut on pressure will be 38psi. Psi and larger ones have 38 lbs. The three pressure switch settings for pressure tanks are 20 40 30 50 and 40 60.
